Experts from around the world are convening this week at the World Ocean Summit in Mexico where they’ll discuss the complex crisis afflicting the global ocean. To mark the summit, chinadialogue.net has launched its latest initiative: chinadialogue ocean. 

“The ocean’s troubles have their origins on land. That is where the solutions also have to begin, and they begin with dialogue,” writes editor Isabel Hilton in her article explaining why chinadialogue has embarked on this latest project. She adds: “Without China, there is no solution, but nor is the task China’s alone”.
