The Chinese energy sector is being harmed by the US-China trade war, reportsCaixin Energy. In the first round of US tariffs, which target US$34 billion worth of products from China, solar exports to the US face a 55% tariff rise. Other energy-related exports will also suffer: nuclear reactors, steam boilers, electrical equipment, electric motors, generators, batteries and wind turbines are all targeted.
