Join us for the fourth webinar of the module on Ecosystem-based Adaptation in the Agricultural Sectors of the “Scaling-up of Adaptation in the Agricultural
Sectors” (SAAS) webinar series. The first webinar of the module introduced ecosystem-based management approaches of natural resources, the second
looked at methods and tools to support planning and implementing EbA in the agricultural sectors, while the third focused on mainstreaming EbA in the formulation
and implementation of National Adaptation Plans (NAPs). For those that were unable to join us last time, recordings and presentations are available online.
The fourth webinar highlights opportunities for ecosystem-based adaptation in coastal and marine fisheries. More specifically, the webinar is intended to introduce the
basic principles of the ecosystem approach to fisheries and to highlight opportunities for addressing climate change risks and adaptation considerations. Examples
of national and regional experiences will be provided to illustrate on the ground experiences of the ecosystem-based management of coastal and marine fisheries.
