This Woman Removes Hate and Replaces It with Art

Irmela Mensah-Schramm may not look like your average graffiti artist, but she’s doing something uniquely wonderful in the street art community: removing hate. The “Graffiti Grandma” uses scrapers, files, and spray paint to modify or erase hateful speech, markings, and signs all around Germany. 30 years strong, no end in sight—now that’s a hate-fighting grandma to admire!
