Dear Colleagues,
As we approach COP23 in November, UNDP, together with 350.org and Pathway to Paris is pleased to announce our third annual
Concert for Climate Action.
This year’s concert, set to take place at New York’s iconic Carnegie Hall,
will see legendary musicians Patti Smith and Joan Baez lead a group of
artists, including Michael Stipe, Cat Power and Flea, in a call for
climate action. With an emphasis on
cities and climate action, the concert will also see Pathway to Paris
announce a new initiative aimed at supporting urban action towards the
Paris Agreement.
Tickets for the event can be purchased via
Carnegie Hall.
A recent press release for the concert can be
found here. Likewise, please find here an article from
Rolling Stone.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me
for further questions. Please also feel free to share with your
networks.
With thanks
Carl
