China's Foreign Ministry on
Thursday urged all parties in the Russia-Ukraine conflict to refrain from
escalation after a drone flew over the Kremlin and
exploded.
Russia accused Ukraine of attempting to assassinate President Vladimir
Putin, though he was not there at the time. According to TASS, former Russian
President Dmitry Medvedev - now a top security official - said Russia had
no choice but to eliminate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy said
Kyiv had nothing to do with the incident. "We don’t attack Putin or
Moscow. We fight on our territory."
