Now Open: Fall Course Enrollment in Graduate Certificate in Forest Carbon Science, Policy, and Management – Scholarships Available!

Fall 2019 enrollment is now open for Michigan State University’s online Graduate Certificate in Forest Carbon Science, Policy, and Management. We are pleased to announce that additional scholarship assistance will be available to qualified applicants.
Coursework will take place completely online and is open to individuals from all backgrounds. Courses are an ideal supplement for recent graduates, working professionals, and those pursuing advanced degrees. There is a growing demand for trained individuals in many fields including policy, development, business, asset management, non-profit, and government.
Participants must complete three courses to complete the Certificate. This fall, participants may enroll in Forest Carbon Policy, Economics, and Finance (Forestry 835). In the spring, participants may enroll in Human Dimensions of Forest Carbon Management (Forestry 833) and/or Measurement and Monitoring of Forest Carbon (Forestry 837).
Participants also have access to MSU resources such as remote library materials, GIS training, and journal access. Additionally, all participants maintain access to the program alumni network online, which tracks and distributes news on policies and methodologies, facilitates internal networking, and shares research and work opportunities.
