Texting has become so prevalent that people report feeling vulnerable and less confident with conversations that take place in real time because they can’t control and rewrite what they say. Yet, face-to-face conversation is where empathy and intimacy grow. To have the best relationships, there must be time away from screens and a sacred space for real human interaction.
