In a report that serves as a dire warning, the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released its comprehensive analysis of the climate crisis Monday, outlining unprecedented changes to the climate and the threat they place on the planet in the immediate future.
The report declaring that the planet will become hotter by 1.5 degrees Celsius as soon as early 2030 has left leading environmental experts and organizations worried.

The sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in China more than doubled in the first seven months of the year as production and demand continued to recover. In the January-July period, NEV sales totaled nearly 1.48 million units, double the figure from the same period last year, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed.
