TikTok prepares for the future under the Biden administration

A legal battle over the popular Chinese-owned social media platform, TikTok, continues in U.S. courts following executive orders by President Trump seeking to ban its use in the United States.

The latest hearing took place on Monday in a Washington D.C. appeals court. Under pressure from the U.S. government, TikTok’s Chinese owner, ByteDance has been in talks for months to finalize a deal with the U.S.-based corporations, Oracle and Walmart.
