Sắp đặt video và âm thanh ‘Phong cảnh #4: Cải tiến Thế giới’ suy ngẫm về quá khứ, hiện tại và tương lai của văn hoá bản địa vùng cao nguyên. Tác phẩm đưa âm thanh, tiếng nói và âm nhạc bản địa lên vị trí tiền cảnh, trên phông nền hậu cảnh là một vùng đất đã trải qua nhiều chuyển biến và xáo động lớn từ quá trình thâm nhập của Cơ đốc giáo, chiến tranh, cho tới các quá trình chuyển đổi đương đại.

- Để đảm bảo an toàn cho tác phẩm và để có được trải nghiệm tác phẩm một cách trọn vẹn, chúng tôi xin phép giới hạn số người xem không quá 10 người/lượt.
- Sự kiện không dành cho khán giả dưới 12 tuổi

Landscape #4: How to Improve the World - A Sound & Video Installation by Nguyễn Trinh Thi

Free admission (the event is not for children under 12)

Landscape #4: How to Improve the World is an aurally-centered video installation reflecting on the past, present, and future of indigenous cultures of the people of Vietnam's Central Highlands. The work foregrounds the indigenous sound, voice and music against a backdrop of a land that has gone through periods of Christianization, war, socialist and contemporary transformations.

The event is supported by the Goethe Institut and FAMLAB (British Council Vietnam)

Notes for visitors:
- Due to the fragility of the installation and the complexity of the set up, we can only accommodate max 10 persons for each slot.
- In light of the current coronavirus developments, please wear mask when visiting and use the hand sanitizer provided at our door.
