FOR A BRIGHTER, STRONGER FUTURE

Dear Jon,

The climate crisis affects every corner of our planet – from the poles to the tropics, and from the mountains to the oceans.

This year we’ve seen record-breaking temperatures across the globe, and we can expect to see more before the end of the year. Temperatures reached a blistering 38°C in the Arctic Circle in June – and 2020 is now on track to become the warmest year since records began!

People and nature around the world are already suffering devastating impacts such as heatwaves, wildfires and droughts. And these will only worsen if the global temperature continues to rise. To create a brighter, stronger future for nature and people, tackling climate change must be a priority for policymakers, investors and companies the world over.

The climate crisis in numbers

We're working towards a future where the greenhouse gas levels in our atmosphere are stabilized and where we take active steps to help people and nature adapt to the impacts of the climate crisis. A huge global effort is required to meet the challenge but we believe that together, it will be possible.

You too can do your part to help nature and people overcome one of our greatest challenges yet. Please remind world leaders that we need to take urgent action now to secure the future of our shared home.
