"Instead of approaching the challenge from
a negative place, it's an opportunity for
many people to contribute their ideas and
imagination to create a positive vision
together." says Hidetake Enomoto who is part
of the Transition Town movement in Japan.

He adds: "I started to feel that we don't have
the leisure to build an eco-village from scratch.

So how can the average person apply the eco-village
concept to their town? That's when I came across the
Transition Town movement."
