Lisa Hanle is currently leading the newly established Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) Coordination Unit in the Transparency Division of the UNFCCC. The focus of her activities is to coordinate and facilitate secretariat-wide efforts on the development and implementation of the new ETF under the Paris Agreement and to promote comprehensive and consistent engagement on the ETF with external audiences. Lisa has over 20 years of experience working at the national and the international level on reporting and review activities related to national GHG inventories, biennial reports, and biennial update reports, as well as accounting for project-based activities, under the Convention and the Kyoto Protocol.  Lisa holds a Masters Degree in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
 

Milena Gonzalez is a Climate Change Specialist in the Programs Unit of the Global Environment Facility (GEF). She reviews climate change mitigation project proposals from countries in Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. She also works on topics related to the GEF’s role as a financial mechanism for the United Nations climate change convention (UNFCCC) including on climate finance, capacity-building, transparency and reporting. Milena joined the GEF in 2014. Prior to joining the GEF, she was a research associate in the Climate and Energy team at the Worldwatch Institute, where she analyzed renewable energy development in the Latin American region, among other topics. Milena holds a master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Atmosphere and Energy and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, both from Stanford University. She is from Mexico and Panama. 

Pascal Martinez joined the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in 2015. Focusing on land uses and particularly forests and agriculture, he contributes to the implementation of GEF strategy supporting development countries to meet their commitments in the framework of international environmental agreements. He also coordinates GEF work on Sustainable Forests Management and he is actively engaged in the implementation of the new GEF-7 Impact Programs “Food Systems, land use and restoration”. Over the past 20 years, he had the opportunity to develop activities in different areas of the natural resources management and the environment, notably in the following areas: forestry, biodiversity, agriculture and climate change. He worked for the private sector, French Ministries and Embassies, and international organizations. Pascal holds a Master in Forestry and a Master in  Ecosystems.
