3 Myths about Natural Gas Debunked

3 MYTHS ABOUT NATURAL GAS: DEBUNKED.

Dear Jon,
Don’t believe the hype: there’s nothing clean about natural gas.
Despite what Big Polluters would have you believe, natural gas is a dirty and dangerous fossil fuel, and like its sisters coal and oil, it’s helping drive the climate crisis.
That’s why we’re setting the record straight: we debunked three major myths about this pesky pollutant, and wanted to share the facts with you.

Like all fossil fuels, natural gas is an energy source of the past – and a “bridge” to nowhere. With new technologies like wind, solar, and advanced batteries in our hands right now, we can power today and tomorrow with clean, reliable, and affordable renewable energy that doesn’t harm our health or destroy our planet.
It can be hard to keep up with the confusing claims about this dirty energy. Many of the arguments in support of natural gas are based on outdated or incorrect information – sometimes going so far as to border on wishful thinking. That’s why it’s important to know the truth.
