First look at Global Witness events

Dear Jon,

When COP30 begins next month in Belém, Brazil, Global Witness will be on the ground to make one message clear: people must come before polluters in climate decision-making.

Throughout COP30, we’re bringing together communities, defenders, journalists and policymakers to promote climate justice, expose extractive harms, and demand accountability from those fuelling the crisis.

Our events will take place both inside and outside the official COP Blue Zone, from roundtables and film screenings to high-level dialogues and grassroots discussions.
