Help pilot a navigator of tools for ecosystem-based adaptationNEP-WCMC, IIED, IUCN and GIZ are seeking feedback on a new navigator that catalogues tools for ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) planners and practitioners. The EbA Tool Navigator features information on more than 230 EbA tools, methodologies and guidance documents. The Navigator has now been released in pilot form, and the developers are encouraging EbA practitioners and planners to explore and test its usefulness for their own work. Feedback is welcome on the Navigator’s design and functions, suggestions on additional tools or user experiences, and on how EbA tools can be made more accessible to those who need them. here.
Get involved in a design study - Tools for PeopleCopenhagen Institute of Interaction Design is conducting a study of climate information ‘tools’ to support designers and organisations in this field. The study will provide an overview of the current state of climate information ‘tools’, visualise best practices, and identify key challenges for the design community to continue exploring. The study will be disseminated widely and support designers and tool developers in adaptation globally. They're looking for 10 tools to be featured as case studies. Find out more
here.
In case you missed them - weADAPT design updates for 2019 Check out our

....and a climate services surveyThe SEI initiative on climate services is conducting a
short survey of resources that are valuable for developing, supporting and using climate services.
As a thank you to all those who fill out this 5-minute survey, we will include an article from each respondent on their ongoing adaptation work in a weADAPT newsletter in 2019!*
Need your own project or network website? If you need to create your own website for a project, network or community of research/practice, check out our
Microsites feature, which enables you to do this, whilst accessing all the features and content within weADAPT at the same time :-) You can
find out more and register your interest

* this requires completion of the survey and that the respondent uploads their article content. weADAPT reserves the right to exclude content on the basis of relevance and/or quality. We commit to including content in the newsletter from the first 40 survey respondents. After this, submissions will be considered as usual, alongside other submissions from across the adaptation community.
