Hangzhou Asian Games approaching

The Hangzhou Asian Games begin on Sept. 23, and the village that will house the athletes is ready for them.

The Games will showcase several non-Olympic sports, ranging from wushu, or kung fu, to kabaddi, a form of tag played by teams that is popular in South Asia.

Lu Chuan, the chief director of the opening ceremony, calls the Games a giant party hosted by the people of China. He gave CGTN’s Wang Siwen an exclusive interview and a behind-the-scenes look.
