Center Indigenous Voices for International Women's Day! 🌎

"Our survival is the survival of the forests, and the survival of forests is the survival of the planet. We're on the edge. But until the end, we will be the resistance."

– Mayalú Txucarramãe

On International Women's Day, we're lifting up the Amazonian women protecting and defending their lives, rights, and territories in the face of ever-increasing threats. Indigenous women have resisted colonial threats and greed-driven destruction of the rainforest for centuries.

SUPPORT INDIGENOUS WOMEN!

Every day, we center their voices in the movement to permanently protect the Amazon. Today, we ask you to join us in solidarity with Indigenous women by making a special International Women's Day donation. Can we count on your support?

Our Amazon Defenders Fund (ADF) mobilizes solidarity funds directly into the hands of Amazonian women and Earth Defenders on the front lines of the many crises facing the Amazon. These funds support Indigenous women's leadership, healing, economic and cultural initiatives, safety, and pan-Amazon movement building.

This past weekend, through the ADF, we supported the launch of the Casa de Mujeres Amazónicas, a new community center in Puyo that will serve as a safe space for women to retreat, connect, train, and receive support.

Your donation today recognizes the power of Indigenous women's solutions for their territories and our global climate. Thank you for supporting Indigenous women on International Women's Day!

For Mother Earth and all her protectors,

Leila Salazar-López
Executive Director
