Dear IISD Community List Subscriber,
Thank you to those who have already subscribed to the new IISD community lists system, hosted by Google Groups. If you have not yet joined the Groups system, please see the instructions for joining below. If you’ve already joined, no further action is required.
During this transition period, we’ll continue to send community lists submissions through both the old system and through Google Groups, but starting 1 December 2020, we will no longer be sending submissions through the old system. If you have any questions or require any assistance with joining the groups, please feel free to contact Daniel at daniel@iisd.org. More information about the community lists can be found at http://enb.iisd.org/email/. Thank you for your patience as we carry out this upgrade to the community lists!

Instructions for joining:
Subscribers should sign out of any currently logged-in personal Google accounts. Click “Sign in”, then input the email address you want subscribed and click “Next”. If your email address is not associated with any Google account, click “Create Account” – “For Myself” – then click “Use my current email address instead” and enter the information requested. Once the desired email address is signed in, the user should click on “Ask to join group.”

The lists will continue to function as they do now:
- Subscribers can opt to receive messages from the Group as they are sent out, or to receive a once-daily digest of all emails submitted that day.
- List members will be able to send emails to the list address announcing relevant events, reports, and projects
- IISD will moderate these emails before releasing them to list members
- By replying directly to emails, list members can correspond directly with original senders
