Ministry of Natural Resources and
Environment has issued decision No.484/QĐ-BTNMT to approve plans to prepare
amendments and supplementations of Land Law. Under the plan, the ministry will
send documents to People’s Committee of 63 provinces and cities directly under
the government, attached with an outline on reports and assessment of 3 years
enforcing the law. Based on local reports, the ministry will survey and assess
the real situations in provinces and cities representing the three regions
(expected in April and May 2017). It’s expected that in the second quarter of 2017,
the ministry will hold a seminar to consult experts, scientists, organizations
and individuals related to some orientations for amending and supplementing the
Land Law and include the seminar in the preliminary review of 5 year
implementing the resolution of the sixth meeting of the central standing
committee.
