Corey Ramsden, VP of Go Solar Programs at SUN
Corey is an experienced IT and solar professional. He was inspired to pursue the latter path by a museum exhibit on sustainable communities. He realized that he wanted his professional life to expand renewable energy and positively affect his community. Now he develops, deploys, and scales educational materials and on-the-ground project models in rooftop solar, community solar, battery storage, and electric vehicle charging. He is a NABCEP-certified PV Installation Professional and a graduate of Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore.
Karsten Neumeister, EcoWatch Energy Editor
Karsten is a researcher, editor, writer and energy specialist focused on environmental, social and cultural development. Before joining EcoWatch, Karsten worked in the solar energy sector of New Orleans, studying energy policy, climate tech and environmental education. Within the last year, Karsten’s work has been featured by sources including the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), Bankrate, MarketWatch and the World Economic Forum.
Fatima Ghani, Go Solar Specialist at SUN
Fatima is an experienced academic architectural designer, researcher, and an upcoming solar professional. Her aim is to pursue sustainability with equity goals. Recognizing the massive energy consumption that goes into the built environment, she wanted to expand her knowledge and experience in the renewable energy sector. She recently joined SUN full-time as a ‘Go Solar Specialist’, where she is helping people go solar, and expanding her knowledge about solar technology, installation, economics, energy equity and other key issues.
